The history of Younker & Kelly extends to Bob Younker, the grandfather of Matt Younker. Upon returning from active service in the Canadian Armed forces after World War 2 , Bob began a successful career with one of Canada’s largest life insurance companies, Canada Life. Upon retiring from management, Bob grew his personal practice. Bob was a true Islander and helped make PEI a better place through service in Rotary and QEH Foundation and the Kidney Foundation.

Bob’s practice continued to grow and his grandson Matt joined his practice in 2003 while still attending UPEI. Matt continues to follow in his grandfather’s tradition of service to the community, currently serving on the board for Canadian Mental Health.

Providing sound financial advice has been the cornerstone of Matt Younker’s practice. Younker & Kelly continues to grow with a dedication to client service. Jack Keenan joined the Younker & Kelly team in 2011, Jack brought with him 37 years of experience in the financial services industry. Zac Murphy joined the team in 2014, his third year in the industry. Zac's father Brian Murphy has 25 years experience in the financial services industry.
